Need Propane

Jerry took the MH out to get propane in it yesterday. The weather has been colder than usual and we were running out. Janelle and the kids are in the house and we are out in the MH. There is only one direction he can bring the MH in the side yard so he stopped to pick up the kids to give them a little ride to go to his turn around place. When they got back they had real big eyes and gave PaPa big hugs for the 6 mile ride. Janelle said she could really get used to this, you can see forever. Got to love those big MH front picture windows. I my self haven't had only one opportunity to take a ride. Some day it will be FULL TIME!!!

Janelle and kidos are here...

Janelle and the kidos arrived yesterday afternoon for a visit from San Diego. They will be moving to Pensacola in July. It is fun having the grand-kids around. They are getting so big. Jaelyn will be 10 this year. Time flies quickly when you don't see them. We stayed in the MH so Janelle and the kids could sleep in the house. Just like camping. Can't wait to be in the MH full time.

I can't beleive that it is still rainning...

Well lets see... Well over 4 inches of rain. The creek is going over the edge and the yard is soaked. Janelle and the grand-kids are expected tomorrow night sometime. We had her wait a day because of the weather. Looks a little better tomorrow. She has to come through the Siskiyou pass in southern Oregon. It is the highest point on I5, and she has to come over it. It is a lot colder today so I hope she doesn't his any snow. We are excited to see her and the kids. We will be staying in the MH while she is here. Fun Fun.

Will it ever stop raining?

We have had well over 4" of rain in the last couple of days. Creek is roaring out back and there is a little lake on the side yard. Last year Jerry cut down the two oak trees that were right next to the MH. Oak trees are dirty trees for the roof of the MH. When he got the trees removed, bucked and split, we brought in a load of gravel for the MH to sit on. Looks nice, and the MH is now sitting on an island. It has a mote around it now. High and dry.
Janelle and the grand-kids are too come up from San Diego for Easter. Hope the weather clears up for them. Because kids being cooped up in side a small home is not good.

Just another rainy day...

We sure are getting tired of all these rainy days. And are getting anxious to get the MH de-winterized, so we can get out and use it once in a while. It's hard to see it setting in the back yard. It needs to get some miles on it. We havent got any offers on the store, but i hope that it will happen this year. We are coming up on our 1o years of owning the store and would like to retire soon. We would love to start our fulltime rving adventures soon. Just have to be patient and wait. Our retirement is in someone else hands. Just wish all this rain would stop and the sun comes out to warm things up. That would help our attitudes allot.

Happy New Year 2012

Happy New Year!!!
I haven't posted in a while, because, well, I just didn't have anything new to right about. We are still working a the store and waiting for someone to buy it so we can retire and enjoy the motor home. We are hoping this will be the year for us. We are ready to get on the open road and see this country of ours.
Hope all are well,

Just another Sunday...

We haven't sold the store yet. Dang it!. So Jerry will have to winterize the Motorhome.
Would of liked to sell the store and head south for the winter, but not this year. Had a couple of people ask about the store, nothing serious. Hope to sell next year... Maybe the economy will start to come back to some normal...wishful thinking.
Jerry has the burn pile going as it is no longer fire season here. Not much else happening. Same ole same ole.
